When trying to make a health change design beats willpower every time!

To create a new habit, you need to design an environment that reminds you to start the habit. You need daily practices to reinforce that habit. If the reward is positive, then you’ll have a desire to repeat the action. Eventually, this repetition will form a new habit.

Let's think of a simple habit you want to improve on. New Habit: Drink 3 glasses of water before noon - The Reminder, schedule into your phone/water app or pour a glass of water right before you go to bed so that it is the first thing that you see when you wake up – The Routine - drinking 3 glass of water every morning before noon – The Reward - more energy, better skin and weight loss – Repeat until it becomes a habit.
